Jürg Goensch

The artist lives with his family on the farm known as La Bourdette at St. Michel in Ariège (09), France.

Born in 1949.

Educated and trained as an craftsman in Switzerland.

1969 - 1970. Studies in theatre and art in Spain.

1970 - 1973. Studies in art and education in Germany and Switzerland.

Self-taught in Zoology.

Study journeys in Andalusia, France, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Scotland, and Switzerland.

Professor in art and crafts in Switzerland.

1986. Moved to France. Exploitation of the farm La Bourdette et construction of the Parc Animalier de St Michel.

Since 2000, director of the puppet theatre "La Roulotte magique".
