Location of the Park

In the village of St Michel, about 10 Kms west of Pamiers in the Ariège (09).

Leave Pamiers on the D119 towards Escosse and follow the signs to the Parc.

Or at Lescousse follow the signs along the D36 (Parc Animalier) to St Michel. In the village, follow the road to Pailhes. The Park is on the left after about 75 metres.

Opening times.

Every day.

1 February to 30 November from 10h 00. Ticket desks close at 18h00.
Closed in December and January.

The visit.

The walk around the Park, which is for individuals as well as families, lovers, schools, clubs and groups, lasts from two to two and a half hours, but you can certainly spend all day if you wish.

For groups of at least 12 people and schools, a guide is available on request.

Tours can be arranged for Lycées, Colleges and Universities in German.

Languages spoken include French and (Swiss) German.

There is a snack-bar serving sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers ice-creams and cold drinks.

A shaded picnic area in a beautiful woodland clearing, accessible on foot..

Barbecue pit is available for visitors.

Parking for cars and coaches, and toilet facilities are available.
